Amendment to the law on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with the armed conflict on the territory and certain other acts (so-called Special Assistance Act for Ukrainian Citizens)

Since the outbreak of the war, the Polish legislator has introduced numerous regulations aimed at assisting Ukrainian citizens who arrived in Poland after February 24, 2022. The current Act on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with the armed conflict on the territory and certain other acts is in effect until June 30, 2024, and is likely to be amended starting July 1, 2024, to ensure its continuity. Additionally, the legislator has decided to introduce many new regulations, with the most important ones presented in this article.
